Caring for a family member or friend can be deeply meaningful and rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming and isolating at times. Many carers often hear the phrase, “You have to look after yourself too,” yet finding the time or space to do that can feel impossible when juggling daily responsibilities.
This workshop provides a calm and supportive environment to pause, reflect and explore practical ways to care for the self while navigating the demands of the caring role. A Carers WA counsellor will guide participants through key topics including:
Participants will have the opportunity to connect with others, learn strategies to support their wellbeing and take time to focus on their own needs.
