Peel Health Campus Consumer Advisory Committee
Peel Health Campus (PHC) is committed to partnering with consumers to ensure a patient-centered approach to service planning, delivery, and evaluation, and to ensure that the consumer voice is heard, acknowledged, and valued. The Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC) establishes a formal partnership between consumers and PHC. The role of the CAC is to provide recommendations and advise the organisation on consumer and carer related matters, represent the voice of patients, families, and carers at PHC, and participate in the planning and evaluation of initiatives, projects and services that impact on consumers.
Criteria: You will need to be a community member of the Peel region to apply.
Obligations of the representatives: • Comply with the committee’s terms of reference. • Report to the CAC on activities or feedback from the other consumers and carers they represent. • Actively participate and provide input to CAC deliberations, seeking clarification from other consumers and carers, as necessary. • Follow the WA Department of Health principles of conduct.
Peel Health Campus, Executive Boardroom. In person preferred, online attendance optional.
2-year commitment, meeting monthly.
TBC (weekday during office ours). 1.5 hours (reviewed and adjusted if needed)
