About the YC Art Collab
In celebration of Carers Week 2024 we are inviting young people and their families to participate in a collaborative art project. Join in-person for the full festival and get your hands dirty in a mural painting workshop facilitated by local artist Jinan Dodd. You’ll also enjoy live entertainment, free bubble tea, dumplings, ice cream and more.
About the Artist
Jinan Dodd is a multi-disciplinary Māori artist from Whakatane, New Zealand, currently based in Perth, Australia. Jinan specialises in painting large-scale murals that tell stories reflecting community and cultural values. Jinan’s work has been featured in public spaces throughout New Zealand.

Time: 12.00pm – 2.00pm
Location: YMCA HQ | 60a Frame Ct, Leederville
NOTE: All children under the age of 18yrs must be accompanied by an adult.
